Website Redesign Checklist: What to Fix Before You Rebuild

Planning a redesign? Do not start with colors and fonts. This checklist covers the strategy, content and technical groundwork that make redesigns pay off.

A redesign is a chance to fix what is not working — but only if you know what that is. Start here, before anyone opens a design tool.

Before you touch design

  • Audit your analytics: which pages get traffic, and where do people leave?
  • List your top customer questions — your new site must answer them.
  • Review competitor sites and note what they do well.
  • Decide the one action each page should drive.

Protect what already works

Keep URLs that rank on Google, or set up proper redirects. Carry over reviews, case studies and content that earns trust. A redesign that erases your search rankings is a step backwards.

Build for what comes next

Fast hosting, mobile-first layouts, clean SEO structure and a plan for updates after launch. A website is never finished — it is maintained.

ProHub360 handles redesigns end-to-end, from audit to launch and beyond. See how our website development process works.
